We ran 4 miles with Carlos around the Reservoir in Central Park in 38 minutes.
Howard joined us for breakfast in the Deli. Carlos is leaving for Zurich tonight as next Saturday will be his youngest daughter's seventeen's birthday party.

Professor Garro-n came by the Deli and had breakfast with us and Howard. During our conversation Howard reminded us the old saying: "One does not take sand to the beach".

Professor Garro-n called us this morning as he arrived into JFK from BA. It seems he's been playing beach soccer with the younger guys and has injured his knee. Carlos has agreed that his new nickname (add to the many he already has) should be: Limping Pig!!!

El Profesor Garro-n nos llamo esta maniana ni bien arrivo a JFK de BA. Parece que mientras estaba jugando futbol en la playa con los mas jovenes se lastimo la rodilla. Con Carlos estamos de acuerdo en darle un nuevo apodo (ya tiene varios), seria: Chancho Rengo!!!

We ran 4 miles with Carlos around the Reservoir in 38 minutes. I didn't want to over do it since I haven't fully recovered from last week. Breakfast in the Deli was on Carlos!!!

ILL but with good news!

I've been ill for a week and expect to start running this 2nd week of 2010. The cold weather hasn't helped.
Professor Garro-n is having a great time in Mar del Plata, eating everything that comes by his path!!!
Last Saturday we meet in the Deli for coffee. Estela came by after a long absence and Katia had just arrived from Spain as she will be here for a year doing her LLM at Fordham Law.

Estuve enfermo la semana pasada y espero volver a correr esta 2nda semana del 2010. El clima frio no me ha ayudado mucho.
El Profesor Garro-n la esta pasando muy bien en Mar del Plata, comiendo todo lo que se le cruza en el camino!!!
El Sabado pasado nos reunimos en el Deli para nuestra habitual tertulia. Se nos unio Estela, que hacia rato no venia y Katia, recien llegada de Espania que comienza su LLM por un anio en Fordham Law.

6 miles (10 Km) very cold & windy morning

We ran 6 miles with Carlos, Emily and Susanita in 1:12 hrs around Central Park. It was a very cold morning due to the wind that made it hard to put up with it.
Stopped by the Deli for breakfast and hot coffee!!!
